Play around and see what feels fun to play - whether that's a melee or ranged fighter, a physical fighter or a magical user, or an undead puppeteer. You'll be able to change your class after you start the game, so you aren't locked into one specific class.
Wizard: Strong but squishy magic users who fight with a versatile arcane arsenal. Necromancer: Magical summoners who can raise the dead and command them to fight, blurring the lines between life and death. Monk: Masters of fist and spirit, monks use a combination of dodges and abilities fueled with divine energy. Demon Hunter: Nimble fighters, demon hunters use arrows, traps and high mobility to slay their foes from a distance. Crusader: Warriors of faith, crusaders wade into the frontlines with heavy armor and holy magic. Barbarian: Buff, bulky bruisers, barbarians spend their time in the thick of battle, using their abilities to carve through enemies. Here's a quick breakdown of each class available at launch. Once you start the game, your first step is choosing a class. Your class determines how you'll play the game, including which abilities you can learn, which stats matter to your character and, most importantly, what all that badass armor looks like by the end of the game.
